These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of an Alloy Oven website or landing page that links to these Terms (the "Site"), operated by DeftX Inc. ("DeftX," "we," "us," or "our"). Alloy Oven is a brand owned and operated by DeftX Inc.

By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1) The Site is informational

The Site provides information about Alloy Oven products and related content. Some content may describe prototypes, planned features, certification goals, pricing, or timelines.

All specifications, pricing, availability, and timelines are subject to change prior to any final sale.

2) Email signups

If you join the launch list, you agree we may send you emails about Alloy Oven (e.g., launch updates, build-slot announcements, and product/performance information). You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in any marketing email.

3) No reservation, no guarantee

Joining the launch list does not:

  • reserve a unit,
  • guarantee pricing,
  • guarantee a delivery date,
  • create an obligation for us to sell or for you to buy.

If we offer preorders or sales later, additional terms (including purchase terms, warranty terms, and return policies) will apply.

4) Intellectual property

All content on the Site (text, photos, drawings, videos, graphics, logos, trademarks, and product designs) is owned by DeftX Inc. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit Site content without our written permission.

5) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site for unlawful purposes,
  • attempt to access or probe non-public systems,
  • interfere with or disrupt the Site (including via automated attacks),
  • submit malicious code, or
  • impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation.

We may suspend or block access if we believe you violated these Terms.

6) Third-party services

The Site may use third-party services (for example, hosting, analytics, form processing, and email delivery). We are not responsible for third-party websites or services you may access through links on the Site.

7) Disclaimers

THE SITE AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEFTX INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE.

IN NO EVENT WILL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE EXCEED $100 USD.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DeftX Inc. and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

10) Changes to the Site and Terms

We may modify the Site or these Terms at any time. The effective date above indicates the last update. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

11) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
