1.1 What we collect

Your email address when you join the launch list, plus anything else you choose to type into a signup field. That is the only personal information the site is built to collect from you directly.

1.2 Collected automatically

The site is served as static files through Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect against abuse, Cloudflare processes standard request data such as IP address, user-agent, and the resources requested. We also use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic (see 1.3 below). We do not run advertising trackers, session-recording tools, or marketing cookies on this site.

1.3 Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies (such as the "_ga" cookie) and collects usage data such as pages viewed, on-site activity, referrer, and device and browser information. We use this only to measure traffic and improve the site. Google states that GA4 does not log or store IP addresses. Your data is processed under Google's terms; see Google's Privacy Policy. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, and we do not use advertising, retargeting, or session-recording tools.

1.4 Service providers we use

• Cloudflare · static hosting, content delivery, the signup endpoint (Pages Functions), and bot protection (Turnstile). Processes request data to serve the site and provide security and reliability.
• Mailjet · email list management. When you submit the signup form, your email address, and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived from, are stored in our Mailjet contact list so we can send you Alloy Oven build updates. You can unsubscribe from any update email.
• Resend · transactional email delivery. Sends the one-time message acknowledging that you are on the list.
• Google (Google Analytics 4) · traffic measurement. Processes usage and device data, as described in 1.3, to help us measure and improve the site.

These providers process information on our behalf to provide their services. We do not sell your information, and we do not use any other third-party tracking or advertising services on this site.

1.5 How we use information

• To send you launch and product updates if you opted in.
• To operate, maintain, and secure the site.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• To comply with legal obligations.

1.6 Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above, for legal and safety reasons where we believe disclosure is required by law or needed to protect rights and security, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

1.7 Emails and opting out

If you join the launch list, we may email you updates. You can stop at any time by replying to ask to be removed, or by using any unsubscribe link we provide.

1.8 Retention

We keep your email only as long as needed for the purposes above. If you ask to be removed, we stop sending messages and retain only what we reasonably need for recordkeeping, security, and compliance.

1.9 Security & children

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, though no method of transmission or storage is fully secure. The site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

1.10 Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To make a request, reply to any Alloy Oven email you have received. That is the fastest way for us to verify the request relates to your signup.

1.11 International & changes

If you access the site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or wherever our service providers operate. We may update this policy. The date above marks the last update, and material changes will be posted here.

2.1 Informational site

The site provides information about Alloy Oven products and related content, operated by DeftX Inc. Some content describes prototypes, planned features, certification goals, or timelines. All specifications, availability, and timelines are subject to change. By using the site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2.2 Email signups only

The only action the site offers is joining the launch list with your email. Doing so does not reserve anything, create any account, or create any obligation for us to sell or for you to buy. You agree we may send you emails about Alloy Oven, and you can ask to be removed at any time.

2.3 Intellectual property

All content on the site (text, photos, drawings, videos, graphics, logos, trademarks, and product designs) is owned by DeftX Inc. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view the site and share links to it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit site content without our written permission.

2.4 Acceptable use

• Do not use the site for unlawful purposes.
• Do not access or probe non-public systems.
• Do not interfere with or disrupt the site, including via automated attacks.
• Do not submit malicious code.
• Do not impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation.

We may suspend or block access if we believe you violated these Terms.

2.5 Third-party services

The site relies on third-party services for hosting, signup handling, and email, namely Cloudflare, Mailjet, and Resend. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services you may reach through links on the site.

2.6 Disclaimers

THE SITE AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

2.7 Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEFTX INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

2.8 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DeftX Inc. and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms or misuse of the site.

2.9 Changes & governing law

We may modify the site or these Terms at any time. The date above marks the last update, and your continued use of the site after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
